Volunteers Donate Cabinets for Florida Hospital Flagler’s ICU

4/15/2009

The Volunteer Auxiliary of Florida Hospital Flagler donated and installed custom cabinets for all 18 of the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patient rooms.

At a cost of $10,000, these new cabinets are a great asset to the ICU.

“They keep the supplies from becoming eyesores to patients, while enabling the nurses to be more organized,” said Cathy Marshall, RN, ICU Nurse Manager at Florida Hospital Flagler. “Ed Gonzalez from the Volunteer Auxiliary invested a considerable amount of his time researching locking cabinets just for our ICU and we truly appreciate this amazing contribution!”
