In honor of National Nurses’ Week, local third, fourth and fifth graders from Old Kings Elementary, Rymfire Elementary and Bunnell Elementary created artwork to illustrate what nursing means to them. More than 170 children participated, submitting their beautiful drawings to Florida Hospital Flagler.
“They are truly extraordinary,” said Eunmee Shim, Florida Hospital Flagler’s VP of Clinical Services.
The artwork is currently on display in the Visitor’s Entrance of Florida Hospital Flagler. Hospital staff and visitors will have the opportunity to view each drawing and vote on a winning drawing. A winner will be selected from each grade and prizes will be awarded to each winner. The Grand Prize winner will receive a special treat – the whole class will receive an ice cream party from Florida Hospital Flagler.
